At Cherry Tree Dental Practice in Solihull we are proud of the  high standards of care that we offer our patients. As part of this we are currently giving all of our patients a free "mouth cancer awareness card", which lists the signs to look out for.

The feedback from all of the patients who have received one has been great, and we have had plenty of requests from patients for extra ones for family and friends.

If you would like one of these cards then please call Stephanie on reception who will be happy to send one out to you. This offer is open to non patients of the practice too, as we want to be able to spread the message on oral cancer detection as far and wide as possible.

As everyone knows, technology, materials and techniques in Dentistry are constantly evolving. At Cherry Tree Dental Practice in Solihull, we aim to keep our knowledge and skills completely up to date.

Mr Brahmbhatt has just completed not one, but two, hands on courses on the placement of aesthetic and functional composite (white) fillings under the tutelage of Dr Jason Smithson of Harley Street, one of the foremost authorities on Restorative Dentistry in Europe.

We know that all of our patients appreciate the fact the Mr Brahmbhatt is constantly honing his skills in order to provide them with the very best treatment possible.

Cherry Tree Dental Practice are proud to announce that our Principal Dentist, Manoj Brahmbhatt, has been chosen by London 2012 Organising Committee to be part of the Dental Team for The Olympic Games in London in 2012. As part of his duties for this event, Manoj will be providing on site emergency services for Athletes in disciplines such as Boxing, Tae-Kwon Do and Judo. In addition to this Manoj will also be working at the primary care centre in the Athletes village.

Manoj said "Like everyone else, I was looking forward to the Olympic Games, but cannot believe that I will be actually part of the support team. As somebody who is sports mad, this is a dream come true."

All of us here at the practice wish both him and the Great Britain team the best of luck!
